Niels Kongsbak

Niels Kongsbak has been a professionel artist since 1995. He works and lives in Esbjerg, a city on the west coast of Denmark. He has a gallery in Esbjerg and also one in Copenhagen. Niels Kongsbak has done a lot of artwork for many companies and has had many exhibitions in several countries. Although Niels Kongsbak allows himself to be inspired by things he has seen or experienced, he does not allow such inspirations to control him. The almost narcotic state of art comes through colouring.

The colours kick him on to the next impulse. When creating pictures this way, you must feel confident with chance events and recognise the possible in the impossible. Niels Kongsbak believes it is okay to spread happiness. Using many different materials, he is on the track of the joie de vivre – creating quite classic expressions in acrylics on canvas and paperworks.
