Sissel Forsberg

Sissel Janne Forsberg, born in Reipå, Meløy in northern Norway, lives and works as an artist in Oslo. She studied art and photography and gained profound experience in art direction and interior design and has been using these versatile sources of inspiration for her artistic concepts in many years. Inspired by different ways of creativity, is it especially important to the Norwegian artist, to change between the ways of expression.  Her repertoire reaches from figurative form language to naive painting. Her artistic goal: to „freeze“ instant moments and the artistic expression of experiences and short stories, for example in her picture series „Spontaneous thoughts“. Sissel is a storyteller. Her descriptions of instant moments, exemplified through dreamful, poetic and artistic expression manifest the red line of her versatile work.
